Privacy Policy
Zapcall ("Zapcall", "we", "us") is a service of Alfonso Solutions Inc., San Francisco, California. This policy describes what information Zapcall collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to the Zapcall dashboard and connected services available at zapcall.ai.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and business details you provide when an account is created for you.
- Call and messaging data — when your business uses Zapcall's call tracking, we process call metadata (caller number, time, duration, routing), call recordings where enabled, and SMS messages sent and received through your business numbers. Callers are notified of recording where required by law.
- Lead data — information submitted by your customers through booking forms or lead channels you connect (such as name, phone number, address, and the service requested).
- Google Business Profile data — described in its own section below.
- Usage data — standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) used to operate and secure the service.
How we use information
- To operate the service: routing calls, sending follow-up messages, responding to reviews, publishing posts, and displaying analytics in your dashboard.
- To maintain and improve reliability, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- To communicate with you about the service.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
Google user data
Limited Use disclosure. Zapcall's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
When you connect a Google Business Profile to Zapcall, you authorize access through
Google's OAuth consent screen using the business.manage permission. Zapcall
uses this access only to:
- read and reply to reviews on the profiles you connected;
- create and manage posts on those profiles;
- read profile information and performance insights (such as calls, direction requests, and search views) to display them in your dashboard.
Zapcall stores the minimum data needed to provide these features: OAuth tokens (stored encrypted), reply and post logs, and insights metrics. We do not share Google user data with third parties except as required to operate the service (see "Service providers" below), and we never sell it, use it for advertising, or allow humans to read it except with your permission, for security purposes, or to comply with law.
You can revoke Zapcall's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access disables the connected features; associated tokens are deleted.
Service providers
Zapcall runs on infrastructure and communications providers that process data on our behalf, including cloud hosting, telephony and messaging carriers, and database services. These providers process data only as needed to provide their service to us.
Data retention and deletion
We retain data while your account is active. Call recordings and logs are retained per your business's configuration. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@zapcall.ai; we delete or anonymize the data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Credentials and API tokens are stored in managed secret storage with access limited to the systems that need them.
Children
Zapcall is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
